“SL discovers that the shadow changes when the condenser lens moves closer to or away from the stage glass. SL uses the knob to move the condenser lens up and down. As he moves the condenser lens upwards and downwards, SL discovers a rainbow! SL discovers that a rainbow appears when the condenser lens is close to the stage glass.

SL (pointing at the rainbow on the wall): “Look, rainbow!”

SL acquired his knowledge through his own investigation! The sense of empowerment and accountability begin to unravel in children when they recognize themselves as the protagonists in their learning.”
